55 - Conifer Cross Country!
It snowed today and George reminded me that he and the boys gave me Cross Country gear on Mother's Day!
54 - Celebrating Elizabeth's Birth!
Heba (left) was so excited to gather Elizabeth and some of her friends (of which there are many) for dinner at Bazaar Middle Eastern Restaurant. Eunice made us all hide our cars and hide behind aisles in the grocery section of the store!
53 - Homer Homeschool Swan Song
I started my last homeschool class today. The Teaching Company makes it very easy!

52 - Sunrise on My Day of Rest
Wasn't expecting this when I opened my blinds this morning! It was supposed to rain today, but it is sunny!
51 - Any Human Heart
"Never say you know the last word about any human heart." Henry James
I wish I could have taken my camera on my 12 mile morning bike ride along the Willamette and Mary's Rivers to the Fairgrounds and up the hill passing the Horse barns. The morning was sunny and crisp and invirogating, but I don't like having to carry my heavy camera when I want to ride fast and free.
So, I settled for an end of the day shot watching this mini-series on PBS. Not sure I really like the series. The acting is amazing with Matthew Macfeyden (Pride and Prejudice), Gillian Anderson, and a whole host of our favorite British actors, but I don't like how it glorifies sex, adultery, and "following your heart" at the detriment of wives and children!
A picture of my bike ride would have more captured the beauty of my day!

44 - Lost Finale on NetFlix
We had never seen this before. So, we watched Seasons 1-5 on library DVD's that we ran through ClearPlay, but the last season was a four month wait at the library. So, we signed up for a one month free trial on Netflix so we could finish and end our suspense (Closure!!! :) We haven't watched an episodic drama since Upstairs, Downstairs! My guess from the very beginning about the situation was correct!
43 - A Good Start to Saturday
I love this sunshine cup! I filled it with chai tea and had some good time praying "Face to Face" before a very full day.
42 - In the Potter's Hands
Tonight was our annual Sweetheart Banquet. The devotional came to life as a local potter demonstrated actual pottery making.
41 - Good Student Discount
My out of town guests left (three 20-somethings in my basement), and I was on my way out the door for a eight mile bike ride, errands, swim, and weights when my insurance called wanting proof for our good student discount. I was a little frustrated with the delay until I paused to appreciate such a diligence son! Thanks Julie too for giving us the Bravewriter philosophy! English Composition: Argument was a breeze for him!

37 - Abang and Abanga
I've known these two since the first week they stepped off the plane from Malaysia in September of 2009. I cannot believe how fluent they are in English now! They came over to watch the Super Bowl with their dad.

36 - Samira and Me and Coffee
I just love this photo of Samira and me! I love the woman listening to the iPod in the background. I love that both arms are reaching out to the camera as in a hug. We are going to try to get together every Saturday morning. We had so much to talk about today!
35 - Preparation for a Feast
Prepared a meal of Malaysian Chicken Goulash, Masak Merah ("Cooked Red"), and Indian Lentil Stew that we will serve on Saturday night.

34 - In Theatres Soon
I heard screams from downstairs, but I know not to panic when these long time friends are together. Isaac was just pulling Michael in the bathroom s he could flush him. It was a scene in the latest "Dragon in a Box" Production.

31 - The T-E-D-I-O-U-S Battle
Always looking for ways to free up my hard drive so I can process pictures. Spent much of this day doing this.
30 - Sunny Winter Journey to Irish Bend
Corvallis was out enjoying the sunshine and 55 degree winter weather. We walked to the Irish Bend Covered Bridge and back with Khairol, Noorul, and the kids. I even raced Abang.
