Just as we came into Corvallis from our appointment in Eugene, the car started shaking. So, I took it in. Thankful it didn't happen while far away from home.
It wasn't lost on me that this would have been my dad's 93rd birthday and repairing cars was his hobby. He was free.

This is the Cat-4 Men Division for the Redmond Derby Days Criterium Race. It is a 40 minute multi-lap race on a closed course, and laps are typically shorter than one mile. Very fun to watch and capture!
188 - We walked through the biggest off-leash dog park I have ever seen to get to this nice boardwalk to the lake. We came back through an Audubon Bird loop! I love Marymoor Park!
186 - 28 Miles on a Dasani Blue Bike = Priceless
Parking at Marymoor Park = $1
Dasani Blue Bikes for the day = FREE
Biking 28 miles round trip from Lake Sammamish to Lake Washington with the man I love = PRICELESS!
Doing it on ONE SPEED cruisers = Amazing fun! (140 BPM for three hours!)
What a glorious day!!!!
We drove up to Bothell, WA for the 4th of July to spend it with the Mossings and three couples from their neighborhood. It was great fun, but I didn't take very many pictures. Too busy having deep conversations!
By the way, Bothell has REALLY lax fireworks laws. I have never had a 4th like it. Once it got dark, there were CONTINUOUS fireworks for about three hours, and I felt like we were in the middle of a war zone. Really freaky!

This forest is minutes away from our house! George is the guest photographer (a little blurry with the Canon Point and Shoot). He took a hike, and I stayed at home in perfect peace and quiet as I meditated on the book of Ruth!
Now I know why Samira is the wonderful person that she is. She has wonderful parents. I love, love, love this sweet family. What a joy to meet them! They are so in love after 39 years of marriage.
