299 - Steaming Chai from My New Pot

My 3 quart pot handle broke about six months ago, and I finally got around to getting a new pot. It has a pour spout and strainer lid - great for straining my morning chai. BTW, I really did take this even though I am in the picture. I have been using the tripod and self-timer more lately.

297 - Box Elder Beetle Invasion

We have had an amazingly unusual number of box elder beetles this years. They were all over our windows this day. I had to snap a shot (and isn't it a beautiful and sunny fall day?).

I came home, and the whole house smelled like cinnamon! George had made snickerdoodles! One summer, I made these everyday, and I would do cooking demonstrations for the younger kids in the neighborhood.

295 - Fall Self-Portrait

This is where I write. I just finished 1 Kings 3 & 4. Love to look out my window and drink chai. I got the tripod out to document something I spend 10-15 hours a week doing.
I am taking this Saturday to work (meditating in Scripture and writing really isn't work though) ahead since I am gone for eight days in November.
